What is a cookie?
A cookie is a file that saves the settings of web pages. It is transfered at the first visit of the web page so that the browser checks, when you visit this page from the same computer, pad or mobile phone, whether the cookie with the web page address is saved.
The browser acquires data from the cookie and sends them back to the web page. This allows web pages to identify, whether the user has already visited this web page. In advanced applications, individual settings can be adjusted accordingly.
